The museum building was once the corporate headquarters of the Copper Queen Consolidated Mining Company and is located at the center of town. An exhibit called “Digging In” helps you understand how important copper is to modern day living, how the ore was extracted, and how miners and their families lived. The museum is located near the Queen Mine tour.
